Parachutes
Parachute fireworks are aerial fireworks that launch a shell into the air and deploy a small parachute, allowing an attached object to float slowly back to the ground after reaching peak height.
These fireworks typically use a single launch tube and fire one or more parachute effects per device. They launch upward from a tube, then at height the parachute deploys. A small weight or novelty item (often a toy figure) descends gently back to the ground while the visual effect continues during the descent.
Daytime Parachutes use colored smoke trails which are easy to see in daylight and are popular for daytime celebrations and events. Nighttime Parachutes feature flashing or strobe-style effects and are designed to remain visible in low light, creating a glowing trail as they descend.
Parachutes are great for daytime celebrations, adding variety to a nighttime display, and are a novelty effect that appeals to kids and spectators alike.
